We are an independent inspection facility that has amassed the following unique capabilities that are at our customers' disposal:

One-Stop NDT Service
We have the complete range of in-house capabilities from metal etch to FPI, MPI, and color C-Scan UT. Once parts are delivered to our facility for NDT services, they stay at our facility the entire time as opposed to being sent out to accomplish an intermediary NDT step.

Quick Turnaround
Hand-in-hand with being able to accomplish everything in-house, we eliminate intermediate transit time loss as well as dependence on a third party to meet critical schedules. We are staffed and equipped to handle your emergencies. We also have a single point decision maker (i.e., 1 combined owner and president) that can make schedule promises and immediately implement them.

Blue Etch Anodize
One of our technology strengths is a complete in-house Blue Etch Anodize capability to serve the demands of the Titanium industry. With regard to aircraft engine manufacturers, we are one of the few approved independent laboratories in the world that is certified to perform BEA inspections.

Complex Contour Following Color C-Scan UT Imaging
Another unique technological advantage we have is an in-house developed complex contour following motion control system associated with our UT immersion tanks. This capability has been integrated with an IntraSpect UT advanced C-Scan imaging system. It has resulted in the only system in the world capable and approved to inspect advanced fan blade bond lines outside the walls of the engine OEM.

Company Capabilities
In 1990, we moved into a new 12,000 ft2 facility - custom designed and built to specifically meet the needs of our NDT laboratory inspection service business. Our in-house capabilities include the following Nondestructive Testing (NDT) technologies:

Immersion and Contact Ultrasonics (UT)
Equipped with state-of-the-art digital equipment, our immersion UT capabilities are constantly applied to inspect critical aerospace related rotating parts, welds and brazes. We have also invested in color C-Scan imaging equipment that can provide C, B and A-Scan views for RF and video recorded data. In addition, we have the necessary instrumentation and personnel to conduct contact UT on complex geometry parts, such as ground based turbine blades, vanes and any other parts consisting of welds or brazes.

Chemical Etching & Etch Anodizing
We have one of the most updated and fully equipped "acid rooms" in the US to perform numerous NDT and cleaning operations.

Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI or PT)
Where applicable, our FPI capability is further enhanced by on-site metal etching as a pre-cleaning process. Defects down to .005" can be found with our standard FPI.

Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI or MT)
Lastly, we also have an extensive capability for MPI.

Certifications & Approvals
We are a Nadcap approved inspection laboratory since 1992. We also hold an FAA Air Agency (a.k.a., Repair Station) Certificate for providing NDE services. We are on the approved supplier lists for various Fortune 500 industrial customers including the aerospace engine Primes.
