MTC Systems Advantage
The Best of All Worlds
MTC Systems has a competitive advantage over its NDE system
peers:
We
have no boundaries
We are not only a NDE systems supplier,
but we also have access to a highly experienced provider of
NDE services (i.e., our sister company: Metals Testing Company,
a.k.a. MTC).
What does this mean to our individual customers? We can tailor
our workscope to be whatever best meets your needs. Our range
of capabilities are:
- Standard System Supply
– Like any equipment supplier, we can simply provide a standard
model system to meet generic needs. Simply identify the general
size of tank, number of axes, and production (accuracy &
throughput) needs, and we can provide the system for purchase.
- Custom System Supply–
If an MTC Systems’ standard design does not satisfy your technical
or budgetary needs, we can propose and build a system customized
to your specific requirements.
- System Upgrades – Many
customers own systems that still have life left in portions
of their hardware. The most typical example is the physical
tank portion of an immersion tank system. We can tailor a
refurbishment project to upgrade only the portions of such
an inspection system as desired by a given customer. Upgrades
can range from replacing C-Scan burn paper hardware with an
imaging system to retrofitting all the electro-mechanical
hardware and installing a new motion control system.
- Inspection Service Transfer to
System Purchase – New!
The equivalent of a “Leased Inspection Capability”. The perfect
solution for customers that aren’t certain they want to take
on the cost of acquiring a system and/or face an uncertain
future for a given project.
If the part can be handled by an existing MTC capability,
an inspection service can be immediately developed and applied.
If not, a customer commitment of a minimum order level over
a specific period of time (i.e., the equivalent of a leased
service) can trigger the fabrication of a system to inspect
the part.
Once the custom system is built and the startup and learning
curve efforts completed, the customer can then decide to purchase
the system at any time. If not, then MTC continues to provide
the inspection service throughout the minimum period (and
beyond if desired).
- Research & Development Service
– If you don’t already know which nondestructive testing (NDT)
technology can solve your application need, we can conduct
R&D efforts to get you there.
- Technique Development Service
– If you do know what NDT method or specification you need
to apply, but have not developed a specific procedure or technique
to do so, we can generate the tech plan to get you there.
- Inspector Training – If
you are just getting into NDT, we can tailor training to your
specific application(s) to ramp up the learning curve.
- Other Startup Services – In addition
to normal system startup services, we can help provide all
aspects of starting up your inspection application. We can
specify and acquire everything you need to be in a production
inspection mode. We don’t simply end our expertise at an open
transducer receptacle. If and when you need additional help,
we stand ready to provide it.
